This year, Beautiful Hands Compassionate Ministry (BHCM) set out to change 50 lives through hands-on training — and the results speak for themselves. Across eleven trades, from tailoring and welding to catering and shoemaking, apprentices have been learning skills that translate directly into income and independence. Thirty-two have already completed their training, with the rest close behind, and every graduate walks away with a fully stocked starter pack to launch their own small business.
Beyond the workshops, this program is building real momentum. Government leaders have taken notice, with the Ministry of Business Innovation and Technology committing to attend the first graduation ceremony this March. And in true BHCM fashion, even the smallest cohort — five women trained in producing cleaning products — got their own mini celebration, complete with starter packs handed over in person by the Board.
